WellNote (the “Service”) is operated by an independent developer (“we”, “us”, or “our”). We prioritize your data privacy and security. This policy governs the manner in which we collect, use, maintain, and disclose information collected from users.

SECTION 1 - COLLECTION OF INFORMATION

We gather only the baseline information required to provide the Service:

• Authentication: Email address only, required for account creation and security notifications.
• User-Generated Content (UGC): Your holdings, investment notes, portfolio data, community posts, and interactions you choose to create.
• Technical Logs: Infrastructure logs including IP addresses, browser types, and access timestamps used strictly for security monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Device Identification: We may use a one-way private hash to identify your device for licensing management; it does not contain personal information about your device.

SECTION 2 - WHAT WE DO NOT COLLECT

To protect your financial privacy, we explicitly declare:

• NO Identification documents (ID/Passport), real names, or phone numbers.
• NO Bank account numbers or credit card details.
• NO Direct connections to bank or brokerage APIs. All data is managed via manual entry or CSV import for maximum security.

SECTION 3 - HOW YOUR INFORMATION IS USED

We collect and use your personal and non-personal information for internal purposes only or for gathering aggregate and anonymized data. We do not sell, rent, or share personally identifiable information with third-party advertisers:

• Routine Operations: For identification, authentication, and service communication.
• Service Enhancement: Providing and improving core features like portfolio calculation, displaying feeds, and general research.
• Aggregate Data: Creating anonymized reports to improve platform performance and user experience.
• Legal Compliance: To comply with court and governmental orders.

SECTION 4 - CONSENT

Implied Consent: When you provide information to use the Service, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only. Withdrawal: You may withdraw your consent for the continued collection or use of your information at any time by contacting us or deleting your account.

SECTION 5 - THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

• Service Limits: Third-party providers will only collect and use your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.
• Payment Processing: For purchase-related transactions, third-party processors (such as Paddle.com) have their own privacy policies. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all orders.
• External Links: Once you leave our application or are redirected to a third-party site, you are no longer governed by this Privacy Policy.

SECTION 6 - SECURITY & STORAGE

• Security Measures: We take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure your information is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed.
• Global Storage: Your data is stored on cloud servers. By using the Service, you agree that your data may be processed in regions outside your country of residence.

SECTION 7 - YOUR RIGHTS

Under international regulations (GDPR and CCPA), you have the following rights:

• Access & Portability: You have the right to access, correct, or export a copy of your personal data via the application interface.
• Erasure: You may request account deletion at any time, which will remove your personal information from our servers.

SECTION 8 - AGE OF CONSENT

The Service is intended for adult audiences only. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone under 13 years of age. If we learn that such data has been collected, it will be deleted as quickly as possible.
